KILLINGLY HIGH SCHOOL
TRACK & FIELD
Talent is the natural ability to do something. Skill is only developed through drive, determination, and commitment to perfecting your craft. Champion athletes aren’t just born - they’re selected, trained, molded and tested.  Killingly High Boy's and Girl's Track & Field hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, perseverance, sportsmanship, pride - those are the hallmarks of Killingly High School Track & Field.
TEAM BUILDING TUESDAYS
We’ve Got Team Spirit
On Team Building Tuesdays we start practice with a team building activity to build chemistry within our squad. Some examples are Team/Track Jeopardy, Relay Races, obstacle courses, capture the flag, or more. This helps the kids mesh on and off the track as well as help learn how to conquer adversity in a fun group setting.
COMPETITION WEDNESDAYS
Playing to Win
Champion athletes aren’t just born - they’re selected, trained, molded and tested. In the Outdoor Season the bulk of our meets are on Wednesdays, therefore we compete within our own squad on every Wednesday to create a routine of competing on these days. This can be actual track events, or other fun and competitive games.
SUMMER WORKOUTS
The Grind Never Ends
The summer is not only for beach, sun, and vacation. What separates the best from the rest is their dedication to excellence. All summer long Coach Fortin is in the weight room with athletes of all shapes and sizes working on their crafts. With a healthy balance of weight training, conditioning, and agility work, Coach is determined to unleash all the raw talent and make it skill.
